Objektbeschreibung: Dunkelwolken im Ophiuchus - Unser Bild zeigt die Weitwinkelansicht - bestehend aus 8 Segmenten - eines großen Komplexes von dunklen Molekühlwolken im Sternbild Ophiuchus, nahe der Grenze zum Sternbilds Skorpion. Die Kette -von Ost nach West - besteht aus Barnard 78, 2645, 265, LDN 1786 und Barnard 65, 66 und 76. Links unten im Bild liegt er große offene Sternhaufen Messier 6 und die H-II Region LBN 1116. In der rechten Bildhälfte sind die Kugelsternhaufen Messier 62, 19 und NGC 6304 zu sehen. Object description Dark Clouds in Ophiuchus - Our image shows the wide angle view - consisting of 8 segments - of a large complex of dark molecular clouds in the constellation Ophiuchus, near the border of the constellation Scorpius. The chain -from east to west- consists of Barnard 78, 2645, 265, LDN 1786 and Barnard 65, 66 and 76. In the lower left of the image lies the large open star cluster Messier 6 and the H-II region LBN 1116.
