Van den Bergh-Hagen 99 - Obwohl der Sternhaufen groß und hell ist, zudem in einer prominenter Region des Sternbilds Carina liegt, sind zu dem Objekt kaum Informationen zu finden. Van den Bergh-Hagen 99 - Although the cluster is large and bright and located in a prominent region of the constellation Carina, there is hardly any information about the object. Under this URL there is a catalog of various open star clusters on the Internet, among others also of Van den Bergh-Hagen objects. There a distance of about 1,700 light-years to the solar system is given.
