Partial lunar eclipse on 16. July 2019

Considering the expected low night temperatures (Namibian winter) and the visit of approximately 50 guests of the lodge, we cooked German Glühwein and prepared a cosy fire in front of the dome.
 
Full moon rise on July 16, 2019 and on the right a full moon mosaic, taken shortly before the beginning of the eclipse in the primary focus of the 150mm Zeiss APQ. The preview image of the full moon can be enlarged by clicking on it.
