Messier 47 - with a flash of the satellite Globalstar 19

A coincidence in the open cluster M 47. During an exposure the communication satellite Globalstar 19 flew through the image on 25 April 2017 at 19:13:24 UTC. The satellite is about 4 m x 2 m and is equipped with two solar panels. These panels reflected the sunlight exactly into the direction of the telescope and so it could be photographed as satellite flare. The duration of this event was just about 0.5 seconds.
