Short objekt description:

NGC 5927 with an apparent diameter of 12 arc minutes, is a smaller globular cluster in the constellation Lupus (Wolf). It is assigned to concentration class VIII. At a distance of about 25,000 light years from the solar system, it has a true diameter of about 12 light years. The cluster was discovered on 8 May 1826 by the Scottish astronomer James Dunlop and later included in the New General Catalogue (NGC) by the Danish astronomer Johan Ludvig Emil Dreyer with the number 5927.
