Moon images from July to September 2018
The moon images on
these web pages exclusively show mosaic images consisting of 2 to 5 segments.
All raw images were taken in the focus of the Onjala Celestron 14 SC telescope.
Camera was a ZWO ASI 290 with a pixel size of 2.9 mü. A Baader IR pass
filter was used for all images to calm the seeing. |
The images were taken in
July, August and September 2018 and are presented here roughly in 4 steps
according to moon age and illumination. The moon ages 0 to 3 and 11 to 14 days
are summarized on one page. The average resolution of the images is about 1 km,
but some of them are lower. The image orientation is south top and east left.
